I used to be a really good speller. But as I get older my skills seem to be a little rusty. Thank God we have computers that will correct all of our mistakes. A game like Word Whomp is good for older folks because we must use our brain power. This game will definitely give your brain all the exercise it needs for the day.
Two little gophers are drilling to the capitol to protest all the junk that humans are putting on earth. The object of this game is to spell as many words as you can from the 6 letters given before the time runs out. Words must be at least three letters. They can’t be proper names abbreviations or contractions. You must click the enter button or the enter key to submit the word. Each word you spell adds more time to the level. If you reach the carrot you win the game. You need to reach the crystal to unlock a clue.
If you spell all the words, which is quite difficult to do, you get a bonus. You can click the hint button for a clue but it will cost you time. Collect letters to fix the drill so you can drill to new locations.
I am going to buy this game just so I can get some much needed exercise for my mind and maybe improve my spelling at the same time.
