What would you do if you won the lotto? I've sometimes contemplated that question for myself (though that would probably mean actually purchasing a ticket, which I've never done). But just say that I were to happen into a large sum of money, there's a lot of things I'd do, like buy a new house, pay off debt, go on a tour of Europe, just to name a few. I think I'd also try and find some ways to invest a large portion of it so that I'm not just consuming the winnings but turning it into a money generator itself.
The Ashtons made just that same decision. After being newly wed, they went scuba diving on their honeymoon and discovered an old treasure chest full of gold. With their new wealth they purchased a family resort and turned their treasure into a money-generating business. I like that in this time management game, you are quickly drawn into the story and get right into playing the game. And there is a lot to do at this resort such as checking guests in, cleaning rooms, setting up the barbeque, fetching basketballs, pumping air in bike tires, hooking bait of fishing lines, and getting ice cream for little ones. You even need to occasionally ward of little forest animals before they eat your flowers or overturn your garbage cans. I also like that as a bonus, you can look for the Ashtons little dog, Sammie.
I really enjoyed playing this game. The game flows very nicely and is easy to follow. The upgrades are fun and I like that you can customize the color of many of the items to create the look of your resort that you want.
